It's International Women's Day!

In honor of International Women’s Day I highly recommend the book or documentary called Half the Sky.
It is an excellent book that I have bought for so many people about the importance of gender equality and education for ALL girls throughout the world. Equal access to education for our young girls and empowering them to be self reliant is a critical factor in driving the future of the world economy. An inspiring read.

We did a quick Q&A with Cindy and Lynn to dive into some of their inspiration and advice:

+ What words do you live by?

Cindy: “Nevertheless she persisted”. 
This phrase has turned into my motto and has gotten me through many challenges.

Lynn: “The Hustle is real, the dream is free.”

+ What advice do you have for women starting their own business?

Cindy: Get a mentor, be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge of those who paved the way for YOU! Ask questions and don’t be afraid to fail forward. The scariest leap always has the biggest rewards. If it isn’t scary, it isn’t worth it. Surround yourself with people smarter than you. Go get it!

Lynn: Work hard, meet as many people as you can, absorb as much knowledge as you can and remember to have fun! It will be exciting if you are following your dreams.
