Summer is better downtown. The Mpls Downtown Council is coordinating weekday events up and down Nicollet Ave from June to August to highlight the magic of the Minneapolis summer.

The Nicollet xChange is your sustainable community marketplace in the heart of downtown. Every Tuesday all summer long Nicollet will be filled with food trucks, giveaways, vendors, entertainment, games, activities, a swap and more.
Nicollet XChange will be creating an open-air, pop-up for downtowners to engage in browsing and exchanging quality & quirky items in a marketplace setting. Each month will feature a different theme, encouraging you to participate and swap your items all summer long.

On Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays food trucks will be located along Nicollet Mall. Each week brings a new variety of trucks to eat from.

Thursdays are packed with activities and events taking place throughout downtown this summer! Be part of the fun during your work week and get outside to enjoy all that downtown has to offer.
The event will feature food trucks, musical performances, games, giveaways, photo ops and more from 11:30 am-1:30 pm each Thursday along Nicollet, plus weekly promotions from local restaurants, co-working spaces, free parking and more.
On Downtown Thursdays, buses will be re-routed off Nicollet to create a pedestrian experience.
