Home of the first two parks established in Minneapolis, Elliot Park is one of Minneapolis' oldest neighborhoods. Notable past residences include Charles Schulz of Peanuts fame, and oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. Elliot Park is named for its namesake park, and now hosts important institutions like North Central University and Hennepin County Medical center, in addition to the historic brownstone buildings, graceful historic mansions, and towering condo buildings.
