Ice cream shops to keep you busy all month long!

We have some pretty amazing local shops in our Twin Cities and we are celebrating National Ice Cream Month by running down some fabulous local ice cream shops for you to frequent all summer long!

Cone or cup - any way you scoop it - we think these ice cream spots are simply the best!

You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream and that is pretty much the same thing.

Izzy’s Ice Cream

Famous for the "Izzy"- an extra, small scoop on top of every single or double cone, this shoppe is located in the heart of the Mill District. Grab a scoop with an “Izzy” and take a stroll around Gold Medal Park and Stone Arch Bridge, both are just next door.

Sebastian Joe’s

The Linden Hills & Lowry Hill neighborhood ice cream + coffee spot. Made every day in Minneapolis, we think this ice cream is way too good to miss.

2 Scoops Ice Cream Eatery

23 reviews and still 5 stars later, 2 Scoops Ice Cream eatery is well-deserving of the high-praise. Proudly black-owned and operated, opening amidst the pandemic late May 2020, and through protests, 2 Scoops owner Brian White Jr. says, “What the world needs now… is ice cream.”

A To z creamery

A to Z Creamery is not just another ice cream shop. Envision handcrafted pints from S’mores ice cream with a smooth, salted dark chocolate ice cream base, to their newest combination More Cheese Please with a cheddar cheese ice cream base, corn muffin crumble, and salted caramel drizzle. A to Z Creamery is here to push the boundaries and expand on the concept of traditional ice cream. Located in St. Louis Park for pick-up only, you may want to place your pre-orders well in advance as they’re known to sell out at lighting speed.
