Real Estate as an Essential Business in Minnesota
To our valued current & future clients,
As you all know, Governor Walz has declared a Stay at Home order for all Minnesotans. Many of you wondering how this will impact the real estate industry; your house search, your showing activity or your upcoming closing.
We are so pleased (and relieved) to inform you that Real Estate practices and supporting functions have been deemed a “critical sector” of the economy. Buying and selling homes is considered an essential business, and indeed we are here to help you navigate this process amidst the new policies and restrictions.
Realtors® and their clients may still conduct the activities necessary to facilitate real estate transactions in Minnesota during the time period covered by the order as long as they comply, to the maximum extent possible, with COVID-19 Guidelines including social distancing and hygiene and other requirements to the order.
